Yes, I know phones have great cameras these days, but there’s times you need an actual digital camera. I got this for my wife to use on a tripod to take photos of items for sale. It’s compact, easy to operate and produces clear pics she can use. Excellent!

I have tried quite a few different budget point-and-shoot cameras, and this is the best one I’ve used so far, with a few caveats – their decision to use the same button to focus when half-pressed and activate the shutter when fully depressed sounds convenient but is actually a huge PITA; it forces you to refocus every shot, because if you try to just activate the shutter for a second picture after the first focus/picture you will actually (without trying) half-press the focus function again and end up with an out-of-focus second picture! What a pain!!! Virtually any other button or a completely separate focus-only button would do wonders for this camera! The other caveat is about the sensor on this camera – while I can’t be certain, I believe it is at most a 12 mega-pixel sensor (and a tiny one at that), and they are using a rather poor algorithm to upscale and interlace any pictures taken with a setting above the 12MP – because of this I recommend using 12MP, unless you need to make a GIANT print in which case I would recommend using proper modern software to upscale a 12MP image instead of relying on the very poor interlacing and jpeg compression done by the camera to create “48megapixel” images.While this can take adequate point-and-shoot pics without too much initial adjustment, it takes a bit of effort and experimentation to get the various settings dialed in for a good picture with this camera. If you want to unlock this little gem’s full potential you will find yourself changing virtually every option in the menu, frequently – for myself that is a huge part of the fun and challenge of shooting with these cameras. The “Japanese” and “Lomo” filters are excellent(!!!) (1st and 3rd image I uploaded, respectively; second image is without filters, manually set ISO), and achieve a great look when the ISO and white balance are properly set. They are definitely the best filters I have found on low end cameras, and I especially like the Fuji Film look I can get using the “Japanese” filter with a few tweaks to WB and exposure.As an added bonus, I have discovered that I can secure a 37mm macro lens in the bevel with a bit of blue-tack poster putty and it works very well! Who knows what else can be puttied onto this thing???I have been genuinely impressed with what I’ve been able to get out of this budget camera, and have ended up buying a second one as a backup and for friends/family to use on adventures. Replacement batteries and external chargers are plentiful and affordable, which is always a good thing.As I said, it really needs a dedicated focus button, and I wish it had actual 37mm threads on the bezel as there are enough cheap lenses and filters available that would open up a lot of possibilities for this camera. It definitely a budget camera, and some parts of the plastic body reflect that, but if you’re gentle with it, keep it clean and out of moisture/rain, I expect this camera to take years worth of photos.

I just picked up this Kids Camera for Girls from Amazon for my daughter, and she’s all about it. It’s got this cute pink look and buttons that are super easy for her to use, so she got the hang of it fast. The pictures come out really nice for a kid’s camera, and she’s taking shots of everything—her toys, our dog, you name it.It’s got cool stuff like filters and frames that keep her busy for hours, and the 32GB SD card it comes with holds tons of her photos and videos. It’s tough too, which is good because she’s dropped it a few times already. The battery lasts all day while she’s playing, and charging it is a piece of cake with the USB cord. For what it costs, it’s a great gift that gets her creative juices flowing and keeps her off my phone. I’d definitely tell other parents to get it for their kids who love taking pictures.
