Product Review: Ailkin GaN Charger — Extremely Disappointed
I purchased the Ailkin GaN charger with high expectations, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. For a device that promises fast charging and modern GaN efficiency, it fails in almost every basic aspect.1. Overheating Issues:From the very first week, the charger started heating up excessively. Even with normal usage—charging a single phone—the temperature would rise to an uncomfortable level. Instead of the cool and efficient performance expected from a GaN charger, it behaves like a cheap, low-quality adapter.2. Very Slow Charging:Despite being marketed as a fast charger, the charging speed is painfully slow. Sometimes it charges even slower than basic 10W chargers. My devices barely gain battery percentage even after extended periods of charging.3. Poor Build Quality:The most shocking problem appeared just after 15 days of use. The charger began to release some kind of oily substance, and the outer paint started peeling off, making it look old, damaged, and unsafe. The pictures clearly show how the surface has deteriorated, which should never happen with a brand-new electronic product.4. Not Worth the Price:Considering the heating issues, slow charging, and terrible durability, this charger feels like a complete waste of money. It does not offer the performance or reliability expected from a GaN charger.Conclusion:I would strongly not recommend the Ailkin GaN charger to anyone. It’s unsafe, unreliable, and poorly built. My experience has been extremely disappointing, and I hope the brand improves its quality control for future products.

Perfect for Samsung galaxy 45 W fast charging
Bought this as it gives 45 W on C type port.Works with samsung fast charging 2.0 when using c type only and fast charging when something is connected on usb A port.Perfect for Phone+ watch/earphone combo.

It’s working in turbo/quick mode when connected at single source.When connected at dual connectivity you dont get to see quick charging.As such one star less for small con.Its a good deal with 2 years of warranty.

Pathetic product
Not as expected. Doesn’t fast charge my Pixel 9 to 28W, or Vivo phone to 65W. Doesn’t charge my laptop with a 65W cable. Plus build quality is not good , packaging was pathetic.Initially they were seling two usb type c model now they changed the model.

Not what it says. It doesnot charge laptops as expected.
It is not a supervooc charger. It does fast charging. But not the super fast one. It promises to charge the laptop but not all the laptops. It heats up quickly and fear of burnout will be there all the time.

Still at a point where I need both USB A and C ports and this is perfect. I have others however Anker is my go to and found this one on sale. Really happy with it as it fast charges my Pixel 7 it little time. While you can find other brands models cheaper, Anker rises to the occasion. I highly recommend this produce.
