All I want to say that it is the best speaker under rs 1600The speaker sound quality is too good..Yeah!! I would say it is value for money because under RS1600 the sound really good and very loud ..The bass is really good as it got two bass radiators . It is really very thumping.Built quality is like a brick..AKAI has done really good work in build quality…Now the last thing is portabilityYess it is portable ..and you can carry it anywhere ..After using it I can say it can give you a playback time of upto 5 to 6 hours..Go for it!!!You will not be disappointed ..

Woofers and mics are not effective for100watts system
Not worth for music lovers. Woofer effect is not at all effective. Treble..is uncontrollable. Mics is not at all effective..frequently sound goes down.Directly contacted Akai customer service but unfortunately she couldn’t understood depth of customer concerns …Not worth for those…karoke music lovers…

I remember we used to have Akai TV at home and we were all in love with that product . We continued with TV for 10 years without any problem . After reasearching a lot about and going after reviews about the product I decided to buy Akai S65 home audio for my LG TV . I found it well in budget and due to brand name I went for it . Amazon delivered it well on time so thanks to Amazon first . I attached it with my TV and watched first movie sholay over it . I can’t define what a wonderful experience it was to watch Sholay movie with Akai Home audio giving you thunderous bass .I am happy I made correct decision to buy it and thanks Akai for making such good Product .

Will work only with bluetooth phone only.
Work great . Very good sound.But only work with bluetooth device( phone tab etc). No other features/connectivity will work. No FM , no SD memory card support, No RCA cable will work. No nothing.Only bluetooth working.But good sound . Punchy sound. But not high bass.

Superb Speaker!
Well balanced sound, solid build quality, packed with all features including radio. The instruction card does not include this crucial piece of information that you need to keep the charging cable connected for better radio signal. The bass radiators on either side could possibly be better protected in some way. I’m afraid that they will get damaged when I pack it into my bags while travelling. A custom travel and storage pouch is something that I would be willing to buy separately. The rubber cover which conceals the charging point, ep output and card slot could have a bit more play as the flap presses against the connected cables. Im worried that this pressure will damage the inputs over a period of time. These are only minor design related points that are not a deal breaker.
