I bought the Amazfit bip 5 watch a month ago and I am very happy with it. It has two features that I really like: the light weight and the GPS tracking.The watch is very light and comfortable to wear, even during sleep. It does not bother me at all and I can track my sleep quality and heart rate with it. The battery life is also amazing, it lasts for more than a week on a single charge.The GPS tracking is very useful for me, as I like to cycle a lot. The watch can track my cycling speed, distance, route, and calories burned. I do not need to carry my phone with me, as the watch can sync with the Zepp Health app later. The app shows me detailed stats and graphs of my cycling performance.The watch also has other features that are nice, such as the Bluetooth calling, the SpO2 sensor, the 120+ sports modes, and the customizable watch faces.Overall, I think the Amazfit bip 5 watch is a great smartwatch that offers excellent value for the price. It has everything I need and more. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a budget-friendly smartwatch with long battery life and GPS tracking.

I have been using this watch for 5+ months now.Pros:Nice display, visible in outdoor conditoons as wellDecent HR, steps and SPO2 detectionHas GPS which is independent(doesn’t require smartphone)Battery life for me has been excellent, goes a full week without charge while wearing it daily.Works with GadgetBridge, so you dont require OEM app. Use the opensource free and privacy protected GatdgetBridge and no need to rely on data hungry OEM app. Of course, you give away some QoL features of OEM app but this is a very good option to have.Cons:It runs Zepp OS 2 which has limited apps and also OS is slightly old considering Amzfit has launched devices with ZeppOS 4 nowSleep detection has been weird for me, it would sometimes start sleep mode even when awakeGPS lock on sometimes takes a long time outdoorsOverall, I would say its a great budget fitness tracker

Just 2 cons:Lcd display and battery could have been a touch better. 4 days, fully loaded. Could give you 10 days on battery saver mode. But it’s got far too many positives to counter thatA good app, a calendar app that syncs with Google calendar, Alexa limited but good enough. Can’t make calls. Understandable.Great customisation. A days overview when you wake up, depending on what you’ve set up. You can have favourites at a swipe. A good app store that many watches lack. Some apps are useful indeed. Watch faces I hope will get updated constantly but they’re good enough. Besides, you can download an app for more watch faces. Accuracy great. Good summary of fitness. Integration to many fitness apps. 50 contacts you can store. What else are we asking for. Why don’t they make some ” Noise “. I’ve used so Many. I own 5 smart watches. This is the best. Just buy it. No Support – okay product.
Support is really bad. It took over a month to solve a simple issue with the charging – which eventually they said was because of a plastic covering on the back of the watch. the entire experience of reaching out to their support team, and getting responses and actual support was tiresome, cumbersome and not worth it at all.Just for clarity, in case you miss above, the support or replacement is not via amazon directly, but you have to write to the manufacturer over email (the only way to connect with them) – correspond over a bunch of emails with slow replies – took almost 15-20 days for them to actually agree to pick up the device – 10 days for it to reach their warehouse – another 5-6 days to evaluate and get back (which again you have to keep following up for) – another 10 days for the repaired or replaced item to come back. Make absolutely zero sense to invest in this watch.It seems through this ~40 days process, they realised they could have just asked me to remove the plastic cover on the back side and try again to charge the watch.

I was given this watch as a gift and I’m really happy with it. Excellent value for money, well made and stylish. It was recommended in several reviews as a top watch for a great price. At least one fitness aid is subscription only but there’s enough there for me to be happy. I would have liked to be able to add a photo as my watch face but that’s a minor thing. There were plenty of free designs to choose from plus you can buy them.
