ASUS VIVOBOOK S16 I5 13420H
After doing a lot of research, I found this laptop to be one of the best in its segment for anyone looking for a professional machine for studying and coding. I bought it for ₹47.5k during the GIF Sale 2025, including the card discount.The performance is outstanding—no heating issues, smooth multitasking, and the sound quality is genuinely good. The display could have been a bit better, but it’s still decent. The battery life averages around 5–6 hours, which is acceptable for this category. The laptop is slightly on the heavier side, but that’s understandable since it’s a 16-inch machine.What really stands out is the build quality and the premium look of the laptop—it’s truly heart-winning. Special thanks to the Amazon delivery person for delivering it on time and even opening the parcel to ensure everything was fine. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Keyboard keys is very cheap and everything is fine.
Keyboard is very very poor and cheap , backlight is also poor , and battery is the major issue here is lasts for 4-5 hours max with minimum continuous use . If you do heavy tasks (online meetings , gaming etc) it lasts for only 2.5 hours to 3 hoursNote : it drops 25% for one hour (normal use)Apart from this two issues everything is good , build quality , performance is very good and fast , very easy to use , display quality is good , very thin and average weight tho it is 16 inch . The lid can go upto 180 degree.This laptop gives awesome specs but it’s basic thing about battery right , atleast it should give 5-6 hours.Update after using 20days : pros – performance and smoothness is excellent .Sound quality is awesome (Dolby Atmos) .Cons : as I said earlier the keyboard is cheap and display is having issue with backlight leakage.it is not a big problem with display for me . And finally the battery .. in my first review I said battery is major issue with its less hours , but later i observed that battery is good and acceptable for the processor .no issues with the battery . With all these specifications I’m satisfied . (Sound quality is too good ) I use VLC but without using also it’s soo good man. I don’t know why all other reviews say sound is not good?.

Good Laptop
Bought it in sale around 51k. That’s ggod deal for this laptop. Good performance, 16 inch screen looks good, form factor also good. Sound level in speaker is low. I’m not playing any games, using for learning and programming. For my use no heating. Brightness also good. Battery life is okay.For MS office 2024 licence enablement, you will face issue. For that first you try to enable the licence. If not working, uninstall the ms office 365 then login into microsoft account using the account you created or already have. There you find products page in that you can download ms office 2024 the link is in the bottom of the page for me. That may change. Then install and enable licence, it will work.

Good Laptop
Nice laptop at this price range. Got it at around 53k. Nice deal according to me at this price range. Battery backup is also good. Has 144 Hz display that is also nice about it. Bought it for programming. Weight is slightly heavier…but also justified as it is 16 inch laptop. Overall happy about it.

Defective laptop
I received the laptop on 25-9-2025.It was working for two days.On 27th evening when I turned on the laptop, instead of windows operating system it entered directly to My Asus UEFI. When I click on the storage icon which is on the window,it shows no Storage existing. It is due to the defect of SSD. I have contacted Amazon customer care service many times but I am not getting any response from them to return the defective product.Although it is advertised as easy return or replacement,I can not return it through the Amazon account.Amazon should find a solution for this with out cheating the customers.

Worth the product
I bought this ASUS laptop and it has served my purpose well. It’s great for working professionals and students — smooth performance, supports dual external monitors, and handles multitasking easily. The only downside is the battery life; I expected it to last a bit longer. Not ideal for gaming, but perfect for work and study use.
