    Average initial impression
    The cable is tough and thick but not tangle-free or flexible enough unlike other braided cables from everyday brands. Its flexibility is comparable to the non-braided PVC cables that usually come boxed with new phones. As a travel accessory, I would be extra careful winding and unwinding it everytime as undue force can unravel and break it prematurely.To extend its life while carrying, I must better neatly tie it into a circular loop rather than bending and bundling it like we usually do with laptop charging cables.Although I intend to use it primarily as a charging cable for my laptop (and phone) while traveling, thanks to the freedom of movement due to its 2m length, at this price point I would have expected at least USB 3.1 protocol for faster data transfers instead of USB 2.0. Anyways, I went ahead with the purchase despite knowing this solely because of the USB-IF certification and the trust on Belkin that it hopefully wouldn’t harm my gadgets. In terms of wattage, I could only test it up to 100 watts as none of my gadgets demand beyond that, and the performance seems satisfactory. I will update the review after a few months of use if I observe any drastic change, positive or negative.
