Getting an entry level full frame at a desparate attempt for the sake of it is the most dumb decision. It will do nothing best but everything average. R7 is perfect in every sense but expensive. It’s weather sealed and actually has a 5-axis ibis. That’s already a winner. Has very good shutter speed. It’s apparently more portable than r8. R8 is just a garbage cam for lower price

Best APS-C and a worthy upgrade for Bird/wildlife
If you are looking for an upgrade on APS-C from traditional mirrored DSLR to mirrorless than R7 is for you. Yes, it is an inherent of R5,R6 mark ll. Same battery, similar features and in the given price range it is the best you can get if you are a wildlife/bird photographer and want to take advantage of 1.6x crop along with more pixels(32.5MP) and decent electronic view finder compared to its APS-C counterparts and to somewhat FF bodies as well(R6, R6 mark ll,R8).The only let down is the animal eye tracking which is below par compared to R5,R6 mark ll specially in low light. The pre-burst, 30fps with RAW is also not as mature as the sensor reading data capacity is quite slow along with the R7 internal buffer being quite low compared to its counterparts which heats up the camera quite soon.But still it’s a beast and works well with EF EF-S Cannon and 3rd party lenses.If you have already used a APS-C Canon DSLR than R7 provides way better ISO performance in lower lights(Obviously not as good as FF cameras)Battery life is also quite good. A bit heavy compared to R8 and DSLR’s.The best. RF lens pair will be undoubtedly RF 100-500mm which makes it a light weight combo suitable for longer hand held sessions and it let’s in more light compared to the other cannon RF 200-800. Also 500mm Provides high quality sharpness with 32.5MP of R7 makes it a beast for bird and wildlife photography.

Price of APSC at the range of FullFrame
Never compromise APSC with Full Frame camera. Instead of R7 i will suggest you to go for SonyA73, Eos R, Nikon Z5 🥰 They’re are best budget Full frame that will not disappoint you. Those 3 beast budget friendly Full frame are the beast of low 💡lights. Go choose wisely & thank me later.

i bought this camera just 2 months back and facing shutter issue as well as focus issue. went to canon camera service center and they say this is out of regional warranty. please please check everything before you buy something on amazon simply relying on warranty.

Comprei principalmente para fotos de pássaros, em substituição ao DSLR 6D. Escolhi um modelo APS-C pelo aumento adicional de alcance para a minha lente 150-600mm, que passa a ser equivalente a uma 960mm, um belo ganho. O adaptador EF-EOS R (adquirido à parte) funcionou muito bem e não trouxe prejuízo nem ao autofoco e nem à entrada de luz.Além do ganho no alcance, é uma máquina bem mais moderna que a anterior e tem muitos recursos que ainda estou explorando. A qualidade do video é fantástica e a estabilização no sensor funciona muito bem. A velocidade de fotos por segundo também é muito boa e ajuda bem na captura de aves em vôo.A perda que mais me incomoda em relação à minha fullframe é, evidentemente, o desempenho com pouca luz e ISO alto. A imagem fica muito ruidosa e tenho que limitar o ISO a, no máximo, 3200 já aceitando um alto nível de ruído. Também sinto falta do viewfinder ótico, mas isso é um caminho sem volta, acho que terei que aceitar que as máquinas sem espelho terão viewfinder eletrônico.No geral, estou satisfeito com a compra. Ainda acho que esse tipo de equipamento é muito caro no Brasil, comparados com preços praticados no exterior.
