Excellent Budget-friendly full-frame for stills and videos for professionals
Excellent videos for serious filming. No in-body stabilization, but it’s not an issue when used with a tripod or gimbal or with IS lenses, or within the steady-hands. I use this as a third-camera along with Red Komodo & EOS R5 for cinematography. Video quality is stunning! In my opinion, this is the best choice at the moment (2025) for serious enthusiasts who have limited budget for a full-frame camera. Excellent still images those generally do not need any software corrections for colour saturation, depth and sharpness with original & branded lenses (I tested with Canon 85mm f/1.2, Sigma 35mm f/1.4, Samyang 35mm f/1.5 Cine, and Canon 24-105mm f/1.4). I feel it’s little better (when the noise is concerned) than R5 at low-light when ISO is set higher than 800.Confidently go for it if IBIS is not a matter for you and your needs are limited to 24.2-megapixels for stills; and 4k for filming. I strongly recommend this budget friendly full-frame for professionals.

The best beginner full-frame for the price
I’m absolutely in love with this camera. It’s light for its size, has a nice hand feel. The pictures are very nice and the low-light performance is adequate. I haven’t noticed any lag in its performance. The 4K 50fps (I use 50 instead of 60) videos don’t make it heat up until several minutes. (Of course, I don’t think you can use this camera to shoot 4k 60fps for over half an hour in one go. Battery life is adequate, but I strongly recommend having at least one spare battery if you’re doing video shooting. Its menus are easy to read and understand, no complex settings. The dials and switches interface is also very user friendly. I got this for under ₹90,000, so, I think it was bang for the buck. Its capabilities are drastically influenced by the lens you use with it, so choose good lenses.

Only made a few test shots, but very impressed so far. I am using with the 24-240 zoom which has better reviews than the 24-105. Jared Polin’s youtube guide on setting up is great and really introduces a lot of features quickly. The camera’s processing of any lens aberrations is great, producing great pictures.My only issues will be remembering the options and menus to facilitate my pics, I can see I’ll be in aperture priority and manual modes for some time with this camera. It has really rekindled my enthusiasm!
