Trying to decide between this and the other one?
Bought the standard combo, which has the camera, a battery, USB cable, silicone lens cover, carrying case. This camera proves why DJI is one of the best in the market. For me, who loves to go on treks, trips and bike rides, this camera is just perfect. It never misses a moment. The low light performance is incredible. Its light weight and can be mounted easily using clamps available in the market. Its compatible with android and ios through mimo app. I am yet to find out the overall durability of the product but it seems sturdy and premium. It does heat up a bit but considering the powerhouse it is, thats quite natural. Finally to those who are reading this review to find out which one you should choose between Insta 350 x5 or DJI OSMO 360 , I would say its not hard to decide. DJI has the best way better hardware and performance in a much much lesser price.

Great product with some major Setback
1. Very easy to use, Picture quality is good. Battery back up is great. Quick recharge2. Night selfies are not great.3. Selfie stick is just a rod, No button for clicking.4. Gesture click works good at Day but not during night.4. You have to purchase editing software subscription which is a set back after purchasing this costly affair.

Sensor is large + 10bit Video, its a great combo
Its a great! very innovative and creative camera, if video edited properly and creatively.i already purchased insta360 x3 earlier and now upgraded to this Dji osmo 360, and there is a huge sensor difference between both. Dji works perfectly in extreme low light conditions, I love the 1″ sensor it works in low light and in Super Night mode ISO boots upto 51200 which is great, + Twist and record and Gesture control is good update . Comparing Software with Insta 360, Insta 360 is well upgraded with lots of features and dji is far behind insta app. as Dji mimo app for 360 is just new and fresh, so its regular firmware updates keep on adding new features and removing glitches. Dji is Solid company and i believe in coming months its software will head to head competitive with Insta app

Be aware before buying. There is no service centre in Maharashtra.
Before buying in india think 10 times. As compared to other 360 camera Osmo’s video quality is good but in humid condition moisture comes on lens.Main issue is after buying u don’t have service support for it specially in Maharashtra. There is one service centre in UP but for that u have to send them by currier.I got faulty stick form there side and now I am paying money for currier. Also u can’t change lens if you got any minor scratches on it.So be aware.Don’t think it’s normal issue once you buy and if you faced same problem then we know actual fact.

Great camera made slightly less great by high compression.
Shooting 8K 25fps on the internal 105GB storage shows 1hour 29 minutes of recording time. Switching to 8K 50fps shows 1hour 24minutes. This is on high bitrate mode (170mbps) and 10bit colors… So yes, the compression is really high and that’s the ONLY gripe I have with this camera. The larger sensor and better optics (compared to insta360 X5) captures good details but the compression makes the final output look not that much different. If they allow higher bitrates (at least 400mbps) even with recording time limit to prevent overheating, I think this will be perfect.Standout feature is the dynamic range in D-LogM, it’s great!

After testing the camera for almost 2 weeks I can safely say this is an absolutely outstanding first attempt for a 360 camera from DJI.I’ve owned the Insta360 One X2 for almost 4 years and primarily use it on my motorbike as well as the occasional vlogging tool when off the bike and on my travels.Right off the bat, the jump in image quality from the One X2 is night and day!Yes, there are some drawbacks but the positives outweigh the negatives.Pros:- I love high frame rates therefore the ability to record in 8K50 is a huge selling point and is one of the reasons why I held back from upgrading to the Insta360 X4 or X5 as they can only record up to 8K30- quality in 360 is nearly as good as a standard 4K action camera (I use the DJI Action 5 Pro)- UI is easy to navigate if you’re familiar with DJI cameras- Build quality is really good. Feels a lot more compact in hand than from the photos- didn’t think the need for internal storage would be a plus but I haven’t needed to add to an SD card and have been using the 105GB built in storage which is more than enough. Although recording in 8K50 does mean I will most likely have to add one when I’m out on a motorbike adventure as I usually go away for a week or 2- massive pro here is I already own the DJI Action 5 Pro Adventure combo and the Osmo360 uses the same batteries therefore I can swap out batteries on the fly- the ability to connect to the DJI mic mini is the most important upgrade for me as a motovlogger because now I can have really good audio as I’m riding whereas before on the One X2 this was impossible- DJI are really good with their ecosystem so the fact that the magnetic mounts are all compatible is a huge bonusCons:- no replaceable lenses. You have to be very careful and after owning the One X2 for almost 4 years I never had to replace the lenses.- I usually edit on my phone and the DJI Mimo app isn’t as good as Insta360s app for editing. This is one of the reasons why I was leaning more to the Insta360 side in terms of 360 cameras because if you know anything about recording in 360 is that you have to edit the video. If you’re not into putting time and effort into editing then you’re better off steering well away from 360 cameras altogether. Insta360s app is a lot more refined with tonnes of features whereas the DJI Mimo app feels a bit bear bones in comparison. Hopefully DJI improves on this aspect.- initially didn’t like the square-ish design but it’s kind of grown on me. I love the One X2 because it’s small and light which is also another reason why I haven’t upgraded to the X4/X5 because they’re getting bigger and heavier which doesn’t work well when they’re on a motorbike. As for price, well…I snapped this up for only £310 which was a deal I couldn’t refuse. The launch price was £410 and was hesitant in the beginning because I didn’t think DJI could make a good 360 camera as well as Insta360. I decided to try it out and if I didn’t like the editing app then I’d just return it. But I’ve found the Mimo app capable enough just about! The Insta360 X5 is around £520 therefore it’s a lot pricier than the DJI Osmo360.

I absolutely LOVE the camera.HOWEVER!!! the software to edit is seriously lacking, especially for windows users. For this reason I am returning it and buying a different camera.
