    I bought this to reduce the sound of loud drilling and hammering from next-door construction in my study room. It reduces the sound to a large extent (I won’t say the construction sound is completely gone, but it’s much, much lesser, and sounds like it is coming from a distance, not next door.)Other sounds like fan, AC, chair dragging on floor, doorbell, someone speaking on the phone or TV in the next room, etc are completely shut out.The downside is the pressure on the head since it is meant to be tight-fit, but I think the noise reduction is worth the temporary discomfort. I think I will get used to it after some time.

    Does its job perfectly, even for adults.
    I was a little hesitant on purchasing this as the promotional pictures make it look like it is child-sized, but it has a great adjustability that even large-headed adults can wear it. The adjusting option is not on the main black band (like on headphones) but on the 2 metal “arms” on the sides of each muff. I live near an area where religious processions happen on weekends and the building right next to me is undergoing construction, and this was a great relief. I purchased another one for my sister as soon as I realised how good mine was. For even more sound blocking, it can be used with those orange foam earmuffs/puffs under this. Bonus, if you want to listen to something on your device while blocking external sounds, earphones that are small can perfectly fit under it—though for wired ones, you’ll have to make sure the wire won’t get damaged, and for wireless ones, I’m not sure if the Bluetooth/connectivity remains unaffected by the thick muffs (I use wired ones and take care to not damage them).TL; DR—Amazing purchase, I don’t regret it one bit as an adult.
