Compact and lightweight standard prime
The FUJINON XC35mmF2 lens gives an equivalent to 52mm on a 35mm format. Weighing just 130g and measuring 46.5mm in length, this new prime lens has nine elements including two aspherical lens elements in six groups, producing sharp and crisp images. AF operation is quick and near silent thanks to the use of an internal focus system*1, which uses a stepping motor*2, making it drive the focus lens elements fast and accurately. The lens produces creamy bokeh while offering excellent portability and high-speed AF.

Excellent value for money, good quality lens
The lens is excellent at this price.Pros:1. Great image quality and sharpness2. No noticeable chromatic aberration and fringing. This is where it beats lenses from other competitors. I had used Nikon 50mm lens earlier and it had loads of purple, green,etc. fringing very difficult to correct in post.3. Large and smooth mf ring. Manual focussing experience is great with this lens. Autofocus is fast.4. Lightweight and small.Cons I really can’t think of any. But I miss the aperture ring because I have got used to it on other lenses. Mounting this lens changes the ergonomics every time because of this.

Premium image quality at a budget price
I tool this lens paired for a recent travel. I paired it with an X-T4.Wonderful experience. I had this snapped on for almost the entire trip except when we wanted some close shots – and I switched to my 18-55 kit lens.I was able to get some amazing photos in low light and the depth of field is perfect for portraits.I 100% recommend this lens from Fuji, especially at this price point. It will challenge your skills, but helps you and motivates you to get clicking.

Great lens, worth the price.
This is the simplest upgrade to your kit lens, a 50mm equivalent prime on a APS-C camera. The bokeh effect is very smooth and blurs stuff out really well, the F2 aperture really helps getting good light from the subject.Tried some wide field astro-photography with this too, This lens could resolve the Ptolemy and butterfly cluster at the lowest ISO of ISO100 with 8s exposure on my XT200, which is high praise.The lens is light weight and made out of plastic, its never a cause of worry though, the build quality is solid and optics are great.auto-focus is fast enough for stills but I wont pick this lens for video or sports,parties it doesn’t focus fast enough.setting the AF to continuous shows focus hunting issues in low light (video attached) on XT200.The minimum focus distance is what you expect.This was also a budget conscious choice, the end result are worth the price if the target is mostly stills like portrait, city, travel or landscape.More on instagram@cygnopia

Very good value for money
This lens is as good as the XF version. Sharp and quick to focus. Build quality is ok for the price. The optical performance is very good. A must have prime for the Fuji X system. Value for money product. Fuji has maintained quality while keeping the price relatively low. Focus speed is quite good on my XT100. It would be better on more premium bodies. Filter thread is a little odd. Not easy to get filters in 43mm size.

This is a great well made lens. It is sharp, focuses quickly, and looks great. If you haven’t tried Fuji x cameras before this is a great lens to start with. This lens convinced me to sell all of my other cameras. It outperformed Full frame Nikon’s and Canon’s on my X-T20. I tested them. I went from 5 dslr cameras to one aps-c camera (the x-t20). For a long time I thought you had to have a full frame to truly get the right combination of sharpeners, detail, and color. Fuji has changed my mind. This lens is great.
