    Great fun camera
    The larger picture size is definitely a big plus. Attractive design. Sometimes the pictures are blurry because autofocussing and autoexposure does not focus on the right object. Try to use only in bright sunlight

    Fun, simple and SQUARE!
    This is my second instax camera and the first square format as well. Coming from a Mini 90, it feels funny to see Fujifilm taking away all manual controls that were present in previous models such as SQ6. However, this time I’m not really minding it because I just needed a personal instax camera for point and shoot experience and the SQ1 delivers it well. More controls means more hassle (I’m not saying, fujifilm is saying. Look at their most neglected Wide series of instant cameras as well. Only the mini format is getting much love with the Mini 99).The square film looks somewhat bigger than the mini format. It’s square, so no need to rotate the camera to take landscape shots and then again rotate to take portrait shots. It’s a perfect square so just shoot!The Chalk White color is calming and gorgeous! I know the Terracotta Red is supposed to be the G.O.A.T for SQ1 but I will shoot black and white films so I wanted the body color to be plain black and white.Batteries are giving me tension already. The backup is supposed to be great but the CR2 batteries aren’t as widely and readily available as say AA or AAA batteries. So will buy a pair and keep it close to my heart (which is already beating faster by seeing the price of those CR2 batteries!)Dear fujifilm, kindly give as a SQ99 with manual and fun controls and a Wide 99 as well. The Mini 99 is great and show some love for other formats too!That’s the only gripe, apart from that, loving the SQ1, will carry it daily and take random life pieces and make albums out of it. My wallet cries in pain but nothing to do about it 😀

    Die **INSTAX Square SQ1™ Chalk White** Kamera war ein Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Freundin, und ich glaube, ich hab endlich das perfekte Geschenk für sie gefunden (ja, es gibt einen Grund, warum ich in den letzten Jahren immer auf ihre Wunschliste geschielt habe 😄).Die Kamera ist im schicken **Chalk White**, was so viel bedeutet wie: „Ich bin elegant, aber nicht zu protzig.“ Und genau das fand sie auch! Sie sieht wirklich stylisch aus, und man hat direkt Lust, ein Foto nach dem anderen zu schießen.Was ich an der Kamera am meisten schätze: Es gibt nicht viele Tasten und Einstellungen, die einen verrückt machen. Einfach einschalten, den Auslöser drücken, und *bam* – das Foto wird aus der Kamera gespuckt, als hätte sie ein kleines Fotomagie-Zauberwerk gemacht. Für uns Leute, die manchmal mit den komplizierten Technik-Dingen überfordert sind, ist das eine riesige Erleichterung. Keine langen Tutorials nötig – man wird sofort zum Sofortbild-Profi!Die Qualität der Bilder ist echt cool – die Farben sind lebendig und man bekommt sofort ein kleines Kunstwerk in der Hand, das aussieht, als wäre es aus einem Vintage-Fotoalbum. Klar, die Auflösung ist nicht wie bei einer DSLR, aber dafür sind die Fotos halt echt und haben diesen besonderen Charme. Und ganz ehrlich, es fühlt sich einfach gut an, das Foto direkt in den Händen zu halten und zu sagen: „Schau mal, das haben wir gerade eingefangen!“ 📸Und der Auto-Exposure-Modus ist auch ein Lebensretter – keine Panik, dass die Bilder zu dunkel oder zu hell werden. Die Kamera regelt das alles von selbst, und das Foto sieht immer aus, als hätte es ein Profi gemacht (auch wenn wir eher „Zufallstreffer“ sind).Fazit: Die **INSTAX Square SQ1™ Chalk White** ist die perfekte Mischung aus Retro-Charme und moderner Technik. Einfach zu bedienen, tolle Fotos und sieht aus wie ein Accessoire, das fast zu cool für den Alltag ist.     It took some time to get used to the difference between the mods of the cam and I found that taking pictures in natural light is so much more beautiful than taking them indoors they turn out dark but overall very beautiful and so happy with it
