Worked when connected to the monitor for picture display but when connected to a USB C to HDMI multi port hub certain options do not work .Serves the purpose of display extension from Mac book to 24 inch for now so kept it without returning since i do not use the other ports on the hub .Good thick cable used and appears to be durable and hoping for a few years of service

Usb C to Usb C female extender
The first delivery was a wrong cheap Usb c. However, raising the same resolved the problem by returning and getting a correct replacement. I use a USB C hub which needed an extension so that I don’t have to move everything when I switch between the office and my personal laptop. I can leave it on the desk connected to my hub and connect it when required. In Mac it doesn’t show me any sort of error, however, in Windows, it does show me USB unrecognized yet it just works fine. Not sure who is responsible for handling the error. But in the end, it serves the purpose without any problem apart from the error message. Even I played games on my Windows laptop as the USB C port is directly connected to the DGPU it worked flawlessly.
