WITHIN 3 MONTHS WILL MAKE YOU REGRET
I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of these headphones. Within just 3 months, I’ve experienced a range of issues, including:- Flimsy build quality- Deteriorating sound quality- Charging problems – it takes forever to charge, and the charging light randomly turns off, making it impossible to know if it’s fully charged.- Poor mic quality – it’s not suitable for calls.Given the premium price, I expect much better quality. Unfortunately, these headphones are a waste of money. I’d advise against purchasing them. Instead, consider opting for more affordable options that you can replace frequently, rather than overpaying for subpar products from companies that prioritize profits over quality.

This is my first JBL headset, as I wanted to try it out. I’ve mostly used Sony, Creative, Turtle Beach & Razer headsets in the past. I’m genuinely surprised at how small the JBL Tune 520BT is. When stretched out to the max, it barely manages to cover my ears fully. I’m just an average 5’8 male. It’s still usable but becomes a bit uncomfortable if used for long stretches. This might not be a problem for ladies but guys larger than me might not be able to use this.As for the sound quality, it is a mixed bag. Listening to music is pretty good, but when used for gaming it sounds terrible in certain instances. You can use the app’s equalizer to adjust the sound profile to your liking. There are many presets available, but somehow I dislike all of them except for the ‘studio’ preset, which is at least okay. Keep in mind that I’m just a casual, not an audiophile. If you’re serious on sound quality, this might not be it. I have better experiences with Sony and Creative headsets in terms of sound quality.The build quality is pretty good, and the blue color is really nice in my opinion. Battery life seems good as well although I have yet to fully test it.I got this during the Prime Day sales, so considering the price, the overall package is still satisfactory so I’ll keep it and pass it to my nephew instead of getting a refund.
