   Don’t Need to be Confused just Buy This
   Don’t get Confused just buy it, you won’t regret. Sound quality is top notch, great clarity for a bluetooth speaker. It supports HIRes bluetooth codec like LDAC not many speakers have these although you need to be a android user.For better experience and comparison i suggest to visit store to experience the by yourself.For portability, it is heavy like 3.3kg but solder strap is given and with solder strap the portability is not an issue.Battery life of this speaker is also good and you can use external power source like ac adaptor also with type c and get extra boost on bass and volume.Party light is also very cool.Overall is a great speaker total value for money in this price, (better sound than JBL xtreme 4).Build quality of this very top notch, have ip67 rating.In the functionality, the Sony’s party connect is there if you have Sony’s other speakers which have this feature.Can connect two same speakers as in stereo although the speaker it self is stereo. In the back io panel there is also a aux in port for audio and the speaker can be a powerbank to charge your phone.All these things which make this speaker great in functionality.

   Excellent!!I am an audiophile! Having said that, I pay attention to all things sound quality related. If you are like me,MP3 files etc don’t cut it. This model was made for the demanding listener. Not all Bluetooth codecs are the same My FiiO M11+ portable player has Ldac and a 3.5Line output. Both of these feature are able to be utilized on the Sony ult field 5. I play dsd and ripped cd files from my FiiO to the Sony. The sound of the Sony is often described as bass heavy. Nonsense. This speaker on the ult2 setting is rich full and natural.The speaker walks the fine line between just enough bass to sound natural,(bigger drivers) and reasonablePortability. The amplifier has decent power output to get to enthusiastic loudness, but still sounds very natural at modest levels as well, and a substantial sized lithium battery to have long all day listening sessions. Like other reviews have pointed out, the colour changing lights are a surprise. They are not too flashy, or over done. They add to the experience.The carry strap is very well made with the ends being metal and not plastic. The sound quality is very well tuned and musical. It is not boomy overblown bass.If you play lesser quality low bitrate files on a lesserQuality Bluetooth codecs, then perhaps you will have a different sound.But careful examination of this models features and build quality and its weight,(7lbs) will tell you the type of audio quality to expect at high bitrate playback over Ldac Bluetooth or direct line input, which is necessary for excellent sound quality. This is a portable Bluetooth speaker for the discerning listener.Well done Sony!

    This is an excellent Bluetooth speaker! After installing the Sony Music Center app, you can adjust the bass, midrange and treble to your liking, and the ULT Mode gives you some extra low end to make the speaker sound more like a mid-sized boombox rather than something a little larger than a water bottle! In my opinion, you get way better bass and treble response with ULT Mode off and a custom EQ set in the Sony Music Center app.If you want to use the custom EQ on a device that doesn’t have the Sony Music Center app (like a Google Chromecast, Roku or Fire TV stick) you can simply pair the speaker to your smartphone or tablet with the app installed, adjust your custom EQ, then pair it to the device you wish to use. The custom EQ settings stay the same unless you turn the ULT Mode on. After you turn it off, the EQ is back to flat.I highly recommend this for the size and amount of bass it puts out, especially at lower volumes! I literally had to turn the bass all the way down when I had a shower, and even then it was still pretty loud! The rope is also handy to use to hang the speaker on your shower curtain hooks, or use it as a handle to carry it. I swear both sides have dedicated woofers as opposed to passive radiators! And if they really are passive radiators, that’s even crazier! The bass extends down to 45Hz so it’s pretty excellent!
