Ainda não tive a oportunidade de usá-lo pois tenho utilizado muito pouco a câmera e não tem esquentado a ponto de precisar acoplar o cooler. Mas o material é super bem feito e esfria pra caramba mesmo. Compra certeira!

As a pro photographer/videographer for longer than I care to admit, I’ve wasted THOUSANDS of dollars on photo/video “tech” gadgets, so the bar is usually “if I don’t feel absolutely shafted, it’s ‘good'”. This thing easily goes in my top five list of ‘least disappointing’ photo-related purchases, and easily makes my top ten list of “I’m glad I bought it”.For the money, you are getting some serious tech in this little package. I was unaware that it was actually an ACTIVE cooling peltier/TEC chip system – I thought it was just a cooling fan, and was resigned to paying the “Sony Tax” for… a fan. This is not just a fan, the fan is for cooling the TEC chip that does some serious chilling. I discovered this while holding it in my hand the first time I turned it on, and it got INSTANTLY cold… and then got colder. I then looked back at the box, saw no mention of this anywhere, until I googled “Thermostatic Semiconductor” – that’s a term used elsewhere in the world that means “Peltier/Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC)”. At this price point, I would say there is excellent value here.Ease of installation couldn’t be easier. The mount is spring-loaded and slides right in to the camera body like it was born attached there. With some hard yank and twist, you can knock it loose, but it would take some serious hanging out a car window at speed, or equipment-damaging jarring to knock it out of place. Intentional removal is as easy as installation. Push it against the springs to the side, and pull toward you.I am lazy, so I like equipment that does not discourage me from taking it out of the bag because of the hassle of setup. I am ashamed to admit I have taken a set of photos with the wrong lens and worked around the issues because the correct one was “all the way” upstairs… so thumbs up there. I will use your product because you made it nearly too easy for a dummy like me to figure out, and to actually take on and off.I have used this thing on a SONY a6700 since the day it got here, and I can attest the camera runs cooler. I have had only one instance to use it in a setting where I KNOW the camera would typically reach thermal shutdown, and it recorded in full-res, 10 bit, all night. So, scientific test? No. But real-world use, I’m actually impressed.I purchased the one that comes with the detachable battery, and it is snazzy, too. You just get it close to contact and the magnets suck it into place, and the thing powers right up. If you don’t want to use the battery, you can just power the cooler directly with a USB-C cable (charger not included). The battery charges with the same USB-C. Again, thanks! I am currently running a V-mount power brick USB-C out to the Ulanzi battery pack USB-C in. In that configuration, it can run for days (weeks?).The quality is solid, the springs seem to do the trick, the fan runs more quietly than I expected, I don’t have much to gripe about here. I’d say, buy it. If it’s on sale, I’d say DEFINITELY buy it.

★★★★★ A Must-Have for All Shooters, Just One Tiny Wording Quibble!I’ve been using the ULANZI CU01 Camera Cooler on my mirrorless camera for a few weeks now, and it has completely solved my overheating issues. Before, I was worried about my camera getting too hot during long 4K video recordings, especially on warmer days. This little device is a total game-changer.It attaches easily with the spring-loaded mount and holds on securely. The fan is surprisingly quiet and doesn’t get picked up by my microphone, which was a concern for me. It starts cooling immediately, and you can feel the difference right away. After a session, the transfer pad was impressively cool to the touch, and I was pleased to see it produced virtually no condensation. I specifically tested it with my Sony A7R5 outside for over an hour in with the fan in Auto Mode, and not only did the camera stay cool, but the cooler itself still had battery left when I got back home. A great bonus is that it also accepts external USB-C power, so you can run it indefinitely from a power bank or wall adapter, with or without the battery pack attached. For any serious videographer or anyone who shoots long takes, this isn’t just a nice accessory; it’s an essential piece of kit.My only piece of constructive feedback is for the marketing team at ULANZI. The box mentions a “Thermostatic Semiconductor,” which isn’t technically a real component. From my nerdy perspective, the device almost certainly uses a thermoelectric cooler (TEC), also known as a Peltier device, which is a type of semiconductor. This TEC is then likely regulated by a thermostat. The packaging seems to have just combined the two terms. This doesn’t affect the product’s performance at all—which is stellar—but rewording it would make it more accurate for the tech-savvy crowd. That minor quibble aside, this is an absolutely fantastic product that does exactly what it promises. It’s well-built, effective, and gives me the peace of mind to focus on my shooting instead of my camera’s temperature. Plus, as a general principle, electronics that run cooler have a longer lifespan, so I see this as a great investment in protecting my camera for the long run. Highly recommended!

I live in Florida, and prolonged video sessions with my Sony A6700 often meant dreaded overheating warnings and forced shutdowns — especially on hot, humid days. Since installing the ULANZI CU01 Camera Cooler Kit, those interruptions have basically disappeared. Here’s why this little unit was worth every cent:What I LoveReal reduction in temperatureAfter mounting the cooler, the A6700 stayed several degrees cooler under continuous use. During back-to-back 4K recordings, I no longer get the “Camera too hot” message within the first 20–30 minutes like I used to.Smart temperature regulation & modesThe cooler has multiple operating modes (silent, quick, auto), so it only ramps up when needed. That means it doesn’t run full blast constantly, which helps conserve power.Quiet and unobtrusiveThe fan noise is low — I can’t hear it over ambient sounds during filming. It’s subtle enough that it doesn’t interfere with audio or distract during vlogging or interviews.Easy to mount, simple designThe spring-mount design makes it easy to attach under the camera. The magnetic battery is compact and snaps on/off cleanly. Charging via USB-C is convenient too.Improved recording consistencyIn past sessions, I’d have to stop and cool the camera down. Now, I keep rolling through Florida’s heat with far fewer interruptions.Minor Drawbacks & Things to KnowBattery runtime is limitedThe magnetic battery provides around 65–85 minutes of operation (depending on mode) before requiring recharge.B&H Photo VideoSo if you’re shooting long sessions, you’ll want a backup or keep a USB power source handy.Extra weight / bulk under the bodyIt does add a little bit of bulk underneath the camera. On a gimbal or tight rig, you’ll want to make sure it clears surfaces or stabilizers.Only helps when you’re filming continuouslyIf your usage is mostly quick snaps or short clips, you may not notice much difference. Its benefits really shine when recording non-stop for 30+ minutes.Final ThoughtsIf you’re battling overheating — especially in Florida or other high-temperature environments — the ULANZI CU01 is a solid investment. It’s not perfect, but it dramatically improved my ability to film long 4K sessions on the A6700 without frequent shutdowns. For me, it turned those frustrating, heat-limited shoots into smooth, dependable ones.Highly recommended — especially for fellow content creators who film outdoors or in hot climates.

This thing is impressive and gets stupidly cold within seconds of the fan coming on. I mainly use it for my Sony ZV1F while streaming and it has resolved my overheating issues but I can’t comment on the battery life. Even after watching video reviews I was still amazed by how it got ICE 🧊 in seconds. This is not a paid review, I paid for this product and am genuinely impressed.
